Coil Voltage (Excitation Voltage): This is the voltage applied to the relay’s coil to energize it and cause it to switch. The voltage should be within the specified range for proper operation.

Contact Rating: This specifies the maximum voltage and current that the relay contacts can handle when they are in the ON state. It includes: Maximum Voltage: The highest voltage the contacts can safely carry. Maximum Current: The highest current the contacts can carry without damage. Contact Configuration: Refers to the arrangement of the relay’s contacts, typically: SPDT (Single Pole Double Throw) – One input and two output contacts. DPDT (Double Pole Double Throw) – Two inputs and two output contacts. NO (Normally Open) – The contacts are open (disconnected) when the relay is not energized.
